Last year our competition brought such a great response, with such amazing stories, we have decided to launch a website: www.bluethumbnail.com for talented short story writers.  This is taking some time to set up but should be on-line fairly soon.  Be patient, we'll keep you posted!

Robin Pridy and Kelly Luce, the winners of last years' competition will be claiming their prices this summer. Robin is coming out to Greece in May for a holiday with her young family. Kelly will be visiting Methana for a week in July. Winner Aongus Murtagh joined us for The August Limnisa Writing Seminar in 2009. Read their stories here.

 

Meanwhile, Limnisa is organizing a second Competition.

• We are looking for original stories of up to 3000 words.

• Closing date is March 1st, 2010.  EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT TUESDAY 2nd MARCH
  

• Entrance fee is £5.- ( €6.- / $7.50 )

• The top TWO winning entrants can choose between:

a FREE PLACE at our two week CREATIVE WRITING SEMINAR - 'Kick Start Your Writing Project' (or the one week  'Time to Express Your Self') more info

OR a ONE WEEK STAY in a HOLIDAY APARTMENT with sea view 3 minutes from the beach, just round the corner from Limnisa on the Methana peninsula. more info

• Our 8 runners-up will be offered a 50% discount at either or our CREATIVE WRITING SEMINARS ('Time to Express Your Self' or 'Kick Start Your Writing Project).

•  The other 10 entrants on our winning shortlist will be offered a 25% reduction.

• As with our first competition, the writers of the top  twenty entries will be offered six months membership FREE and be able to post their stories on bluethumbnail.com.
