It's not always easy in everyday life to find enough quiet time to be creative and mindful. We sometimes need space and silence in a safe, supportive environment. This is what Limnisa offers.

A unique and special location to be shared by creative people; mostly writers but also painters and those seeking time to step back, re-evaluate or just think in a place that is calm and serene.

Seven years ago Limnisa opened its doors and since then Mariel and Philip have welcomed hundreds of guests who have come from all over the world; Holland, Great Britain, United States, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, New Zealand, Australia and Belgium. It has become a meeting place for writers, poets and other creative people and an ideal location for a solo traveler looking for a sunny, mindful, carefree all inclusive holiday in Greece.

Limnisa is right on the edge of the shore, in an otherwise empty cove, with the most incredible views out across the Saronic Gulf. From here you can see four islands and the mountains of the Peloponnese.

The word 'paradise' is mentioned by 90% of the people visiting Limnisa. But Limnisa cannot be so easily defined.. you will have to come and see for yourself.

Agios Georgios is situated a 15 minute walk from Limnisa. It is a typical small Greek village with a church, three tavernas, a small fishing port, a beach and the most wonderful views over the Saronic Gulf. There are no shops or banks in Agios Georgios. For this you will have to go to Methana town (a 15 minute - €14 taxiride). Agios Georgios is an ideal place to be quiet, to be close to nature and to go for surprising walks into the olive groves and along the beaches.

Methana is an island but for the narrow ribbon of land connecting it to the Eastern Peloponnese, with ancient Mycenae and Epidavros in easy reach, as well as the islands of Aegina and Angistri, Poros, Hydra and Spetses. But unlike these ‘real’ Greek islands, it has maintained its sense of separateness into the 21st century. Methana is unspoilt and largely undeveloped. Its mountainous, volcanic landscape gives it a deep brooding quality that fits with the serious mood of people who want to concentrate and not be afraid to go deep.  And all around there is blue sea.
